  • Does Advanced Comments plugin supports SocialEngine Feed?

    No, Advanced Comments plugin supports YouNet Advanced Feed only, it does not support SocialEngine Feed.
  • What is the difference between Global Settings and Advanced Activity Settings in BackEnd of Advanced Comments plugin?

    Global Settings are applied to all the content pages which are using Advanced Comments, these settings will not apply to Advanced Feeds Plugins. Advanced Activity Settings are applied to Advanced Feeds Plugins only. For different Advanced Comments settings on different content page, you may need to go to Layout Editor -> Select the desired content page which has Advanced Comments & Replies widget -> Edit the suitable settings on each page.
  • Does Feedback Plugin supports Advanced Comments?

    Yes, Feedback plugin does support Advanced Comments. In order to use Advanced Comments in Feedback, you may go to Layout Editor -> Choose Feedback Detail Page -> Replace

    I got this plugin to extend the functions of the advanced feed, it looks really nice, although having a highly customized layout made me work a bit to adapt the css to make it fit into my design. Really nice plugin!

    I am using it for more than a year and feel great to have the plugin in my website.

    I have used Advanced comment widget with view page of other plugins like Blogs, Documents, News, Photos etc.

    I works extremely well and specially nested comments, reply with like and dislike buttons give an extra mileage.

    Never work with that company.
    They last my social network project during 1 year and 6 month, in order to take advantage of your lack of knowledge, and take you all your money. From the very beginning, they didn't listen any of my requirement.
    Worse than that, after spending 10.000 $ for a social network wich is not finished, I mean no graphic result, no typography, no structure ...
    I didn't had any communications with them, they left me during hours without speaking to me.
    To drive me crazy, because they understand, it was too late for me to stop the project, once you spent 5.000 already.
    It is insulting, irrelevant, and more ...
    And after they piss you off, they ask about to get paid. They send you huge bills you can't afford for stupid plugins.

    NONE of my requirements were respected.
    Let me give you an example, Ky, my first project manager, told me about the parallax effect.
    They only make it, after one year and 6 month, in only on day, after i get mad and insult them all.
    This show they are able, they understand, but they don't give you what you need in order to steal your money.

    One year and 6 month of development !
    And i have a network, that i don't know what to do with it.

    Now i'm changing companies, will check their works, and figure it out, if they steal me.
    With an unfinished products in my hands.

    PS : you can charge any money you want, but considering your clients as shit people, this is the worst.
    I had no dialogue with them from the beginning.
    I had thousands of argue and conversation battle on skype, to obtain little result

    IF you want to have result in your projects, don't work with asian.
    They expect you make all the job for them.
    Let me give you an advice, if you need something serious, a serious business relation, ...
    You better work with Ukrainian developers.

    Don't work anymore with all those asian company that stick to social engine.
    They just look for weak people to take advantage on them.

    I WANT TO SHARE WITH YOU GUYS MY EXPERIENCE WITH "YOUNET", FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO SOCIALENGINE AND WISH TO BUY PLUGINS FROM THEM.

    THEY HAVE LOT OF PLUGINS WHAT COULD HOOK YOU, BUT MOST OF THEM HAVE STILL BUGS ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED LONG TIME AGO. BUT THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM, THE REAL THING IS THAT THEY SEEM TO NOT TEST PLUGINS BEFORE RELEASE THEM, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN DETECTING BUGS AND MISSING FUNCTIONS EVERYDAY, SO WE, AS CUSTOMERS, HAVE TO DO THAT TASK AFTER INSTALLING THEM, AND FOR FREE!!!... BUT IT GETS WORSE WHEN WE NEED SOME HELP FROM THEM (EVEN WORKING AS "CODE TESTERS" FOR FREE) AND THEY BEHAVE ARROGANT, REPLYING TICKETS WITHOUT THE MINIMUM OF COMPROMISE TO US AS CUSTOMERS AND PRETENDING TO MAKE US FEEL GUILTY FOR NOT BEING DEVELOPERS, WANTING TO CHARGE US FOR FIXING THEIR OWN BUGS, HOW ABOUT THAT?

    BELOW IS THE LAST MESSAGE I JUST SENT THEM AFTER BEING ASKING AND ASKING FOR A LITTLE HELP:

    Hi Tuong,

    It's just unbelievable your lack of common sense and respect to your customers. If me, or anyone else ask you for a little help on the plugin config you should provide it willingly, since you are perfectly aware that most of SocialEngine and Younet customers are NOT DEVELOPERS, reason which you should thank to, because otherwise we would be able to program our own plugins and would not purchase yours. So again, you should show thank about us not being developers by providing the attention we deserve.

    So, if I ask you help on configuring the cronjob you should write few lines that explain how to do it instead of writing more lines to avoid doing it.

    Think about it.

Understand that, with all your requirements and Customization Work requests (unfortunately we did not meet any mutual agreement) we still did provide some modification costless as we do understand your situation’s status.

    We are very impressed by the solid design and high quality programming offered by Younetco. They are a delightful surprise.

    We were looking for functions to add to the Social Engine Core. Our list for customization would be quite long, were it not for Younetco products.

    After we bought the package, we have been testing the products quite extensively. It is amazing that we just could not find any major errors. For minor issues, Younetco is very quick to resolve.
