Product Description

People always want to choose best option, always want to be praised and always want to compete and win. So this plugin is all in one solution for your Social Engine Network, it allows your members to create votings, nominate their content and vote for it. There are three completely different types of votings. Photo Votings is a votings where users will upload their pictures, photos and other members will be able to vote and choose best, Video Votings is the same but there is video as a object of voting and Music/Audio Votings that will allow your users to share songs, audio records, etc. and get voted. Each type of voting gives your members completely different experience. Also each type of voting has its own list of categories that could be edited from Control Panel of your Social Engine Website.

With this plugin your members will able to create endless types of contests such as beauty contests, contest of the best photography, contest of the best video, contest of the best song and many many others.

Features

Flexible global and level settings. Administration of the site can specify settings for each user level with following options
- Who may create votings?
- Who may edit votings?
- Who may delete votings?
- Who may participate in votings? (Upload photos, videos, music/auidio)
- Who may vote in votings?
- Who may view votings?
- Who may comment in votings?
- Define html tags allowed to use in voting description

Three different types of votings (Photo, Music/Audio, Video votings). Photo votings will be interesting for artists, photographers, graphical designers and for anyone who related to any photo content. Video votings designed for users who are related to video content such as operators, animators, etc. Music/Audio votings are perfect way to share songs, podcasts and any other audio records and get rated.

Voting Categories. Each type of votings has its own categories, that can be edited in Control Panel of your Social Engine installation.

Widgetized Voting Profile Page. The profile page of the voting fully consists from widgets, that could be managed from Layout Editor of Social Engine. Here is list of widgets that is available to put on Voting Profile Page - Voting Photo (shows voting profile photo)
- Voting Options (shows list of actions available to user)
- Voting Info (short information about voting)
- Voting Leaders (shows first three most rated participants of the voting)
- Most Voted Participants (show participants who have most largest number of votes/rates)
- Most Viewed Participants
- Tag Cloud
- Voting Status (voting title)
- Activity Feed
- Voting Description
- Profile Links (links that were shared from Activity Feed Composer)
- Voting Participants (list of items that is participating in voting with AJAX browsing)
- Voting Participation (participation form or current user participation information)

One click 5 star rating/vote. Users are able to rate/vote each participant except themselves with 5 star rating feature.

Nice Browse Page with voting thumbnail surrounded by thumbnail pictures of the participant items that could be zoomed in and out.

Support of Social Engine native comment and like features, so both voting and voting participants could be commented and liked.

Social Engine Voting Plugin Widgets that could be place on any page in Layout Editor
- Active Votings (displays active votings)
- Cast a Vote (shows participants of the active votings with options to rate/vote)
- Featured Votings (displays featured votings)
- New Votings (displays most recent votings)
- Upcoming Votings (displays upcoming votings)

Profile Votings Widget (placed on Member Profile page). Widget displays list of votings created by user and list user audio/music, video, photo items that is participating or participated in votings

Time Management for Votings. Creator(owner) of the voting could start and finish voting whenever he/she wants, so after voting is started users will be able to start vote/rate items, after voting is finished users will not be able to vote/rate.

Tell a Friend Feature. Now users can spread the word among their friends about voting or participant of the voting by Tell a Friend feature.

Vimeo, Youtube and uploading videos for Video Votings. Members of your community are able to create video participation items by importing video from Youtube, Vimeo and uploading it from their computers.

SEO Optimization. SEO optimized URLs, titles, description meta tags.

    Hi,

    My customer purchased the Plug-In back in January, 2013. The issue is that it can't be installed because they are on SE 4.2.1, even though the websites claims that the Plug-In supports SE 4.1.1 - 4.2.6. They created 3 open tickets, asking for support, and there was no response. This seems like a neat plug-in, but the the lack of response from Keenonweb is disturbing. BTW: Their website is down today, 2/10/13.

    I have yet to use the plug-in because the customer service has not answered my last 2 tickets! I have had no correspondence at all for 2 weeks to complete the installation process. The concept is awesome and I would love to use it, unfortunately we cannot establish any contact with technical support through e-mail or support tickets! We will be more than happy to re-post an honest review IF it is ever operational.

      We responded on your request and we explained to you that this problem related to your server configuration, because you have the same problem with video plugin. So you should contact your hosting provider regarding this issue.

      The Kenonweb team gave me the proper information to configure the server to operate the plug in. It now works as advertised.We are thinking about the contest plug in next. Thanks for your help guys & continued success!

    We have had major issues with the video portions of this plugin, and have been more than patient with Keenonweb in regards to fixing the issue. In reality, their support is either extremely slow or unresponsive. They returned exactly one support message asking for FTP info, and then have disappeared for more than weeks. This is unacceptable for us as these issues have stopped our progress on the matter and is forcing us to look for alternate routes. Zero response on customizations has also affected us greatly.

    We pre-payd with PAYPAL several Hundred dollars for customization of this plugin for our social network project;

    after many months, the have not complete the customization, AND THEY NEVER ANSWER US;

    if we don't receive a complete answer from KEENONWEB + The complete customization we request at 100%, WE WILL ASK PAYPAL THE 100% REFUND, AND WE WILL WRITE TO SOCIALENGINE STAFF TO ERASE KEENONWEB AGENCY FROM THIS LIST.

    I really needed this plugin for some contests on my site. For that i'm thankful.

    The reason for only 3.5 stars is for the following reasons:
    1. Very Slow to respond or no response at all..
    2. Pluging does not allow setting to allow multiple photos and or to change photo and edit description.
    3. I wrote a request for an estimate for customization four days ago and have yet to receive a response.

    This is a shame since they have a great start to a great plugin but is not well supported.

    Anyone else offer a similar plugin and is working on something more complete?

      I installed the plugin found some bugs about 3, posted a support ticket 2 days ago NO help yet seems like very slow support.

      I started to get some support but they haven't been able to fix much I keep finding bug all over which is relative normal for most plugins I hope their support gets better.

      I received the proper support and they installed the plugin for me for free. I thought this would be where people can vote on photos which people have already posted, as opposed to needing to post to a vote section.
