This is a great product that will help you customize your site to the "T" for yourself but also for all your members. We love this one! It is so easy to set up and so simple to use. Thank you!

It does what it says it does for the most part but I was disappointed that the block titles don't display in the tabs of tab containers. The tabs titles instead say "advancedhtmlblock" and the title instead appears in the body of the tab. I put in a ticket with younet to have this fixed - it didn't seem like it should be a hard thing to straighten out - but was told "Since we add multi-language support into advanced html block and different content on different device, it doesn't support title on tab container." Seemed ironic to me that an "advanced" module can't even do what the regular module can do. Since I specifically got this plugin for edit html in content tabs I was about to ask for my money back when I figured out a workaround. I do all the editing in the advanced html block, click on the source code button, copy the code, drag a regular html block into the container, copy the code into that, put the name in the title, save, and then delete the advanced html block. Kind of a pain in the butt with all the extra steps, but at least I'm able to use this mod somehow.

I have had good experiences with younet plugins, and their support. They're generally pretty good. But I'm not a fan of this plugin. Granted, you can't beat the price, and it's certainly a lot better than the default content editor from social engine (which is shockingly bad) but this plugin really needs improvements. The tinymce viewing window is so small it makes it nearly useless, so I always have to go in and edit the HTML directly (the HTML editor has plenty of bugs too). But if you do that, after you make a change you need to save the HTML, and close that box, save again at the TinyMce level, close that, then save it the social engine layout editor level. Yes, you need to save 3 times any time you make a change. If you're just trying testing out how something will look (which you need to do a lot because the wisiwig editor is so small), you need to open the page, open the tinymce editor, and then open the HTML editor. Then after you make your change you need to save and close all 3 places. Its' a real pain in the butt having to do this for every single little change. I have been told by younet that this limitation is because of socialengine. Maybe that's true but I have no way of knowing if they just haven't figured out a way to work around it. All I know is that changing content through this plugin is a serious headache. I'm really looking forward to seeing someone else (or possibly even younet) make the necessary improvements to making creating content in social engine not such a horrible experience. As it is, I dread having to create pages on socialengine, and this plugin doesn't really do too much to help.

This plug is makes doing stuff on the back end a breeze so that you do not have to know anything about html to set up a page or part of a page with data, including images and rich text formatting. Socialengine has a widget but to use it you have to know html. This gets you in without knowing a word of code or code rules.

This is miles better that the standard SocialEngine text block, the ability to add videos
and photos is a big boost for me.

Having this plugin on our site paid off immediately. It saves us time and efforts over and over again, while giving us great flexibility to create a better Social Presence in our Network. It works reliably and is very easy to use, saving us costs in projects where, otherwise, we would need to engage more experienced and expensive developers.

YouNet Advanced HTML Block helped me to have HTML Code on the Landing Page for German and English users. Now the right content appears automatically.
