You can add as many featured blocks to your site and show a different user and different description in each one. Titles and descriptions use the phrase manager for multi-lingual sites. Just add the phrase and translations for each language. The widget will pick up on that based on the member's language chosen from your site languages.
Crap, not worthy.... sorry, it´s my opinion. It´s the same as done with a HTML block. Do it like a pro, not this. Thx
Thanks for your feedback. As staff at SocialEngine, I make free plugins that can be useful for people. I use this on my own site to highlight authors from contests. It is quite useful for that. As it's free, it is unfortunate that you had to rate it like this when many clients cannot do the html and phrase as this does even have a phrase for multilingual sites to show the block to each language.
Works perfectly and members of the site love to see themselves highlighted! Highly recommend if you want you community to feel appreciated... one profile at a time!
Thank you! Glad you like it. :)
The best part about this widget is that you have complete control of what members you can feature. Every widget instance displays one member. You can change this as often as you like. It works great. I like to feature members and add custom descriptions of why they are important contributors of the site. I place the widgets in a tab container on the browse members page using the layout editor. Script Techs puts ideas first for Social Engine with their 5 star quality plugins featuring excellent attention to conceptual detail.
Thank you! Glad you like it. I use it for contest winners on my site.
